Why obtain a university degree does not receive education

Many colleges often lament that they just need to accumulate enough university credits so that they can earn a degree and just pass on. This “just to get” attitude is very discouraging and disappointing, especially to educators who want to give useful education to students rather than in a degree.

You should ask you now, is there a difference between getting an education and graduation? For starters, the university degree is only one representation. This is a certification attesting that a person has actually studied in a variety of useful areas. This also indicates that the individual has reached a target level of mastery in terms of material.

On the other hand, education is all that any degree is represented and should be considered more important for both. It is education that helps people face real challenges in the workplace. It is the education that will make anyone who increases above the rest.

Traditionally, students are said to win a university degree is the real key to success. When success is addressed, this could mean financial and personal.

There are already many studies that show how people with collegial education are able to succeed in the workplace. They are usually those who earn significantly higher wages throughout their lives compared to those who are without degrees.

Information like these would do most parents would deduct that it is the university degree that creates the difference. You can not blame the belief students to succeed, academic degrees are essential.

But to really make a difference, parents must understand that it is a collegial education that really makes the difference, not the degree. Is there a difference between the two? There is.

It is possible that an individual reaches a university degree without real education. It is also possible that an individual has real education without gaining a diploma. It seems confusing, right? Look at it this way.

Many students are still interested in spending their topics and earn a sought after degree. They do not wear much attention to learning and much of the lessons they take in class are not kept.

However, they can always pass exams and earn good grades in projects. In the end, they often manage to become a graduate of a college without too much gravity or understanding of their subject.

On the other hand, a student can take university courses where they adapt and apply the lessons learned to situations of everyday life. They could have learned lessons by rote, retention is not a problem. However, because of circumstances, they may not be able to finish a college and gaining a degree (often because of financial constraints).

Which of these students is better educated, you could ask? Or what is preferable, has a degree or reaching an education? Initially, you would say, both. But a closer and deeper catch on the question would lead you to a single answer: it is education.

According to award-winning teaching, John Taylor Gatto, “Education” is not a commodity to buy, but an expansion of the perspective, power, understanding and self-control almost out of the cash economy and is almost extremely an effort generated internally.

The world and the place of work, however, should not learn from this achievement. Nowadays, diplomas are always considered synonymous with education, particularly in India. We have not yet seen potential companies and employers looking closer in this argument.

For the interval, those who have both a diploma and an education are at the end win. For students, it is very important that they open to learn more while studying to earn a degree. For parents, it means that the need to make the effort to infuse a love of learning in their children.
